Shri Vajpayee Bankable Scheme: Scheme to provide financial loans / assistance to cottage industry artisans through nationalized banks, co-operative banks, public sector banks, private banks.
Shri Vajpayee Bankable Scheme: Scheme to provide financial loans
( 1 ) Purpose : – Under this scheme the intention is to provide self employment to the unemployed persons in urban and rural areas of Gujarat. People with disabilities or blind people will also be able to avail the benefits of this scheme. 
( 2 ) Eligibility of the scheme : 
1 . Age: 18 to 65 years
2 . Educational Qualification : At least Std-4 (four) pass or
Training / Experience : Must have at least 3 months training from a private institute suitable for the profession or at least one month training from a government recognized institute or have one year business related experience or inherited artisan.
3 . There is no income limit.
( 3 ) Bank through loan borrowers maximum limits :
(1) Maximum 8 lakh for industry sector.
(Ii) Maximum 8 lakh for service sector.
(2) Maximum 8 lakh for trade sector.
( 3 ) Assistance rate on loan amount : Assistance rate for industry, service and trade sector under this scheme will be as under.

Note : In case of blind or disabled beneficiary, the maximum assistance for any sector will be Rs. 1,25,000 /-
